We are one of the first hotels to open doors in Tavira, located right in the city’s center.
Our hotel has a really good location with an amazing view of the Gilão river.

Our excellent location means that everything in the city is reachable by foot on a few minutes so you won’t need to worry about time spent in traffic.

Some details about our history
Hotel Princesa do Gilão was founded in 1986 in the same place where there used to be a flour factory.
New age, new rooms
Back in 2014 our hotel was renovated and this allowed us to launch our premium rooms.
We also added a room and the elevator thinking about those with reduced mobility so we can welcome any guest.
Places to visit
Given our great location we recommend a visit to the islamic center and the Tavira castle.
At meal time we recommend the restaurant “Pátio” for some local and portuguese traditional cuisine.
